Delete your account

You can delete your Petals account and its data at any time. The quickest way is in the app.

In the app

  1. Open Petals and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Under Privacy, tap Delete Account.
  3. Type DELETE and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, name and settings
  • Your answers, reactions and garden. The nights you shared are deleted for both of you, and your partner is unlinked and notified.
  • Your daily dares, attachment portrait and AI reflections
  • Your sign-in record

Some data may remain for a limited time in backups, analytics and crash reports, and Apple, Google and RevenueCat may keep purchase records where the law requires it. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. On iPhone, cancel in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. On Android, cancel in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, send us a deletion request by email. Petals accounts are anonymous, so include something that identifies your account: your invite code (yours or your partner's), or the email address you saved in Petals, if you added one.

This opens your email app with the request filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send.

We confirm by email once your account is deleted, within 30 days at most.
